Mission Lead / Scientist

I have completed my Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt and am currently pursuing my doctorate at the Institute for Fluid Systems at TU Darmstadt. At the LOEWE Center emergenCITY, my research focuses on the assessment and optimization of resilience of water supply networks. As a member of NFDI4Ing, I am actively involved in research data management in engineering sciences, among other things in my role as Managing Editor for the open-access, open-peer-review journal ing.grid.

Research Interests

  • resilience assessment of water distribution networks
  • development of a monitoring metric for water distribution networks based on observability theory
  • water network optimization
