Last Friday, the Female Student Travel Award 2023 was presented to female students with exceptional achievements in computer science and electrical engineering. We warmly congratulate the award winners Sophia Moyen, Marleen Sinsel, Sucheta Kulkarni, Manu Pritha, Elisabeth Kirsten, Luise Mai, Eya Chemangui and Sophie Lüth! Networking among our young female scientists is at the top of the agenda for the Female Student Travel Award. Not only did the award ceremony serve as a small networking event, but the award also includes participation in one of eight international conferences in Austria, Norway, the USA or Germany, which offer the students great opportunities to exchange ideas with other talented women from science and industry. The prizes were awarded by the Collaborative Research Centers CROSSING and MAKI, the Research Training Group Privacy & Trust and the LOEWE Center emergenCITY. We are very happy about the excellent field of participants again this year and wish great conferences!
