During this year’s emergenCITY week, our eHUB opened its doors on the Lichtwiese campus of the TU Darmstadt. Among the numerous guests was the Hessian Minister for Science and Research, Art and Culture, Timon Gremmels. The event offered insights into the eHUB, which serves as a prototype for energy self-sufficient emergency solutions. Numerous other demonstrators from our research center were also presented, such as the drone fleet, the rescue robots and the sensor boxes for the Heinerblock. Minister Gremmels tested with enthusiasm the newly developed serious game “Krisopolis”, which provides information on crisis prevention in a playful way.

On the occasion of this event, Claudia Kabel published a detailed report on emergenCITY’s research and the Minister’s visit in the Frankfurter Rundschau. The article was published in the regional and national editions as well as online. More information about the day can also be found on the news page of the TU Darmstadt.
