emergenCITY-PI Michèle Knodt and Eva Platzer conducted a comprehensive analysis in the course of the Ahr flood and developed recommendations for action for disaster management from it. The third emergenCITY Policy Paper summarises the results of the study. The local newspaper Darmstädter Echo also published a detailed interview with Michèle Knodt on 02 August 2023. There, the political scientist explains which key points she can identify and what better preparation for disasters could look like.
