The Emma Goldman Snowball Award recognizes researchers and activists in the field of feminism, inequality, and civil society. Dr. Kateryna Zarembo, who has been with emergenCITY for just over a year and a half, is now heading back to Kiev with her four children. She says in her tweet about the award: “This prize is a lot about equality for me personally, because being a working mother of 4 is a challenge. Thanks @MarynaShevtsova for nomination and @emergen_CITY and @NEC_Ukraine for super parenting friendly employment policies which I am and was lucky to have in my life.”
