On Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 7 pm, Die Stunde der Wahrheit, an event series of the Hessian Ministry of Science and the Arts in dialogue with citizens, enters a new round. In this edition, Minister of Science Angela Dorn will discuss the question Crisis - Can we do it? with emergenCITY speaker Matthias Hollick and emergenCITY PI Michèle Knodt in the restaurant Palais in Wetzlar. How to deal with current challenges – from Corona to the energy crisis – and how to prevent internal peace and the stability of our democracy from crumbling is the starting point of a discussion, moderated by NDR presenter Tim Berendonk.

Michèle Knodt holds the professorship for Comparison of Political Systems and European Integration at TU Darmstadt and works as principal investigator in the emergenCITY program area City and Society. Special focuses of her research are topics of EU governance and energy policy. Matthias Hollick is the scientific coordinator of the LOEWE research center emergenCITY, which explores how to improve the resilience of digital cities. Hollick’s personal research focus is on the resilience of mobile and wireless systems and networked critical infrastructures.
