With the Female Student Travel Award, the LOEWE centre emergenCITY, the collaborative research centre CROSSING, the cluster project The Third Wave of AI (3AI) by hessian.AI, and the Zuse School ELIZA recognize exceptionally well performances of female students of all subjects connected to the topics of the awarding projects. From resilience research to expertise in cryptography, artificial intelligence or machine learning, be it from a perspective of computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or something different - we are looking forward to every application!

The award winners can attend one of the following conferences, which are focused on connecting female computer science and engineering researchers, to take advantage of the excellent networking opportunities during these events.

We invite female students with excellent academic performance from any field of study touching on the topics covered by the participating research centres and schools to apply. Please send us…

  • a description of your connection to and/or interest in the field of research of emergenCITY, CROSSING, The Third Wave of AI (3AI) or Zuse-Schule ELIZA
  • Optionally, you can indicate which conference you want to attend in your application. You are entirely free to choose from the listed conferences. The choice does not influence the selection of the winners.

The call is open for female bachelor and master students at TU Darmstadt. Please refer to the websites of the other participating research centres to find out more about other eligible universities in addition to TU Darmstadt.
