Getting to the heart of your own research in just a few seconds is no easy task. How can something that you have been researching for months and years be explained in just a few sentences? At the LOEWE center emergenCITY, six scientists have taken on this challenge.
In collaboration with the research teams, emergenCITY will be showing the new video series #emergenCITYinsights on the social networks LinkedIn, X and Instagram from October 31, in which scientists and their scientific approaches to crisis prevention will be presented every Thursday. In just a few seconds, they give a brief overview of their research topics. There will be at least one example from the four program areas: City and Society, Information, Cyber-Physical Systems and Communication.
At the LOEWE center emergenCITY, more than 90 scientists are researching solutions to better prepare cities for crises. The focus is on resilient information and communication systems to ensure functionality during and after disasters.
