Katharina Kleinschnitger is Managing Director of the LOEWE center emergenCITY and a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Political Science. From 2016 to 2023, she worked as a research associate in Comparative Politics under Prof. Dr. Michèle Knodt. In addition to her teaching duties, she coordinated the project PaEGIE (BMWK/Fraunhofer IGD), served as Program Coordinator at emergenCITY, Network Manager of the EU COST Action ENTER, and Managing Director of the AEI. Previously, she was managing editor of the Politische Vierteljahresschrift (PVS) and contributed to the Horizon 2020 project C3EU. Her research focuses on the media perception of EU external relations, particularly in the context of the Eastern Partnership.
